Team of Ukrainian European Perspective has left for the two-days conference Can Ukraine Win Its War On Corruption?

Corruption – the main problem, which concerns Europe when it comes to Ukrainian future and Ukrainian perspectives. Corruption stands in the way of many reforms and slows down possible cooperation with European Union substantially. In order to attract investments and start working on modernization projects, Ukraine needs to offer potential partners, first of all, the basis for trust.

Main corruption schemes have let the roots grow deeply into the judicial and law-enforcement systems, covering corrupt officials of medium and small significance. Corruption is an internal problems, therefore it requires participation of Ukrainian high-ranking officials and politicians. This is exactly why newly formed group of European Parliamentaries invites Ukrainian officials to join the discussion.

On the 24th of April the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko is joining the discussion in Brussels.

The path of Ukraine to the civilized and orderly European society will not be easy, but this goal is realistic – it only requires the willingness of both sides to cooperate. And this is exactly what discussions within the framework of the project Europe is Ukraine are aiming to achieve.
