On November 21th at 12:00 in Prague, in the Small hall of the Municipal Library of Prague (Mariánské náměstí 98/1, Praha 1) will be held the presentation of the cosial multimedia project “The Winners” by the TSN news on the Ukrainian TV-channel 1+1 and the magazine Viva!.
The project tells the stories of the veterans of antiterrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine, who have lost their limbs to the war, but have not lost the inner strength. They have started new life, they are doing sports, are getting married and having children, they are travelling, some of them are doing business and some are returning to the military service. But all of them with no exception are looking into the future with great optimism, inspiring other people.
“The Winners” will be introduced to Prague by the curator and 1+1 TV-news host Solomiia Vitvitska, as well as by the participants of the project themselves – Vadym Svyrydenko, Vadym Dovhoruk and Serhii Khrapko. Svitlana Tarabarova will be singing at the event. The project presents pictures by famous Ukrainian photographer Oleksandr Morderer and art-director Tetiana Rubliova, video-backstage and the seris of short stories by Solomiia Vitvitska.
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic will be presenting the project in Prague in cooperation with the public association RUTA. The project has started as a photo exhibition, but the idea has quickly grown into the large-scale multimedia project, and has already been presented in many cities across Ukraine and around the world.
